Who
Megan Warren. Mathematics teacher and tutor, twelve years. Independent designer and software builder. Not an agency, not a studio, not a team of one pretending to be a team of ten.
Where
Boston, Massachusetts. Commission work is remote by default and the location does not change the price. AI coaching happens in person within about five miles of downtown Boston, or over Zoom anywhere.
What she takes on
Custom software commissions, book commissions, and 1:1 AI coaching. Fixed price on the commissions, most landing between $1,500 and $10,000, quoted by scope and never by the hour.
What she doesn't
Enterprise software, anything needing a standing engineering team, and open-ended projects with no defined finish. You hear that in the first reply rather than three weeks in.
The through-line

Offline first
Every tool runs with zero network calls after it loads, by choice. No wifi, no login, no install, nothing to break mid-class. A tool that needs a connection breaks exactly when you need it most.

Four course textbooks
Discrete Math and Linear Algebra, Calculus Derivatives, Calculus Integrals, and Trigonometry. Each is a complete course in a single HTML file, the smallest over 12 MB, with math that stacks properly and reads itself aloud correctly.

Color Companion, because marker caps lie about the ink inside them. Upload a photo and it names the exact markers from your own set.
Brand systems, end to end
The Hello Paint brand kit, a complete identity delivered as a working offline brand book, and Ask the Turtle, a full marketing site for a Boston nonprofit fundraising consultancy founded by her husband.
Source, in public
Most of it is on GitHub as megwarren8. The jobs, dates and recommendations are on LinkedIn. The private work stays private: a client's discovery logic is part of what they paid for.
Twelve years in the room
The reason the classroom tools land is that they were built by someone standing in front of thirty kids with the wifi down, not by someone who read about it.
